Local Enid woman Kathy Ring is in the process of making over 100 homemade masks for health care workers in Tulsa and Enid. She got the idea after finding out her nieces, who work in the health care field in Tulsa, were working without masks.

I, Corey, personally called her early Tuesday morning and told her how great of a person she was. She is someone we should all strive to be like. She is going out of her way to help others in need. She is a local hero helping the big heroes, the health care workers. It has been reported that all hospitals are running low on masks. She went out of her way to make all these masks for health care workers from her home, just so she can help. We sent her $40 worth of treats from the Pastry Nook bakery & bistro, and a special letter in the mail just thanking her.

If you want to help the health care workers aka the heroes, you can. Kathy shared her instructions on how to make the masks with me, with the intention of sharing it with the world!

Let’s all strive to be like Kathy Ring. We all need to lend a helping hand, anyway we can.
